About the event
Create your very own machine sewn 'Betsy' bear in this full day workshop here at The Makery.
From choosing your fabric, to cutting it, sewing it, stuffing it, to all the finishes touches like sewing her mouth, attaching the eyes & nose, you will be led every stitch of the way.
The workshop will start by choosing from a range of suitable fabrics & then be introduced to the beautiful 'Betsy' pattern created by the talented Rachel Leggett from 'Cwtch Patterns'. Led by Jen from 'Bunting by Jen' you will then begin to sew your very own 'Betsy' bear.
Jennie started her sewing business back in June 2017 as a bunting hire business that has grown to incorporate lots more fabric crafts. After leaving her day job in 2022, Jen has expanded her business to include sewing classes as she wanted to teach the joy of sewing to everyone.
