About the event
Our pre-schoolers sessions for 3-5 year olds build on children's growing confidence by introducing exciting artists, creative techniques and different styles of art in a fun, age-appropriate way.
What to expect
Each week focuses on a different artist or artistic movement, such as: Vincent Van Gogh, Andy Warhol/Pop Art, Pointallism, Frida Kahlo for example.
We will begin with an engaging discussion about the week's theme before exploring the techniques used by that artist.
Children will then experiment with these methods before creating their own artwork or craft inspired by what they have learnt.
To keep sessions exciting and relatable, we blend famous art styles with themes children already love, from dinosaurs and space to woodland animals, oceans, seasons and fairy tales.
