At Mini Makers Craft Club, we believe every child is an artist.
Our carefully planned sessions are designed to nurture creativity, build confidence and encourage children to explore through art, crafts and imaginative play.
Each week follows a new theme, inspired by the seasons, nature, stories, famous artists, different art styles or the world around us.
Every class is thoughtfully planned to be engaging, educational and, most importantly, fun.
All materials are provided, and every child will take home something they have proudly created themselves.
It all started with our children…
One of the things we have loved most as mums is watching our daughters learn and grow through creativity.
From the first time they picked up a paintbrush, to proudly bringing us their latest creation, we have seen how much joy, confidence and imagination can come from simply giving children the opportunity to make something themselves.
We have loved sharing those moments with them — the messy ones, the funny ones and especially the “look what I made!” moments.
It made us think… why not create a space where lots of little artists can experience that too?
A place to explore different materials, try new techniques, get messy, be imaginative and, most importantly, have fun.
And that’s where our Mini Makers Craft Club came from.
Something created from our love of art, our love of watching children learn, and our belief that every child is creative.
We are so excited to finally share it with you.

Toddler classes ages 2–3
Our toddler sessions are designed to introduce little ones to the wonderful world of creativity through art, crafts, sensory exploration and messy play, all alongside a parent or carer.
Pre-schooler classes ages 3–5
Our pre-school sessions build on children's growing confidence by introducing exciting artists, creative techniques and different styles of art in a fun, age-appropriate way.
Tickets are priced for one child and one supervising adult inclusively along with a hot drink for the adult.
No ticket is required for babes in arms.

After several years raising my young family, I am delighted to finally be able to share my passion with other children than my own.
I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to create freely, explore their imagination and feel proud of what they make - whether it's a carefully painted masterpiece or a wonderfully messy experiment.

I am the founder and creator of
'The Makery' at Great Ashley House in Winsley, Bradford on Avon. Offering creative craft classes and wellness workshops in collaboration with talented local artisans and wellbeing professionals.
While raising my young daughter, I have discovered a shared love of making, creating, and crafting. Together we explore a wide variety of crafts, materials, and techniques, nurturing a passion for creativity that has become an important part of our family life.
This journey has been at the heart of creating an offering where others can experience the same joy and connection.
The Makery at Great Ashley House seemed the obvious choice to run our
Mini Makers Craft Club but wanting to make it as accessible and inclusive as possible,
we are going on tour!
Our first venue is set in the beautiful village of Winsley offering not only a large community space with tables and chairs perfect for our little makers but a large outside space ideal for inspiration and exploration.

Circumstances can change, especially with little children. We have all been there and we totally understand.
If you do need to cancel, please can you give at least 48 hours or more before the class. This means fees can be refunded or optionally transferred to another class as appropriate.
Due to sourcing resources for the classes sadly, if you cancel less than 48 hours or are a no-show, no refund will be issued.
